DSANKE 56V 5.0Ah Replacement for EGO 56V Battery
I've tested three battery-powered snowblowers over the years, and here's my experience with each:
Greenworks (Single-Stage): Works fine for very light snow, but struggles with anything heavier. It got me through a mild Chicago winter but wouldn't be my first choice for anything beyond that.
EGO SNT2100: A step up from the Greenworks, but still has trouble with heavier, wet snow. Performance was decent, but it lacked the power needed for more challenging conditions.
EGO SNT2110: The best of the three—handles wet and heavy snow better than the others, but still struggles under tough conditions.
Common Issues Across All Three:
Snow Spraying Forward: None of them control the discharge as well as a gas-powered model.
Ground Clearance: Unlike my old 2-stage gas snowblower, these single-stage models don't scrape the ground clean. Their lighter weight means they tend to float unless you apply downward pressure on the handle.
Final Thoughts:
Storage space is limited in our garage, so the ability to fold up and place any of these models on a shelf is a necessity—especially since I only need a snowblower a few times a year. Another big advantage is the convenience of battery power—no gas, oil changes, or maintenance beyond charging the battery and going. That said, if you regularly deal with heavy, wet snow, none of these fully replace a solid 2-stage gas or high-powered battery snowblower. However, for light-to-moderate snowfall and hassle-free operation, the EGO SNT2110 is the best option of the three.
