As with all things Instacart, the increased price of the items eats up that big $15 savings(as does tipping). However for the ease of delivery it can be worthwhile.

I wish store pickup was an option . Don't understand why Costco hasn't started store pickup yet .

Not tipping is being cheap? Okay I'm cheap, so what? We're not responsible for paying instacart employees or contractors, instacart is. Do you tip your mail carrier? Your doctors? What about the janitor? Do they get tips too? Americans and their tipping is out of control. Don't spread the cancer.

No need to tip
Then go pick it up yourself. Promoting being cheap is embarrassing.

Costco business has minimum for pickup up. Order must be at least $750.

A solid hack I've been using is purchasing the Instacart gift card (Pay $80 for $100 gc) as the same day goes through Instacart. It more than offsets prices and delivery/tip for me.

There is no space. It is already packed as it is. Last weekend it took me 10 minutes just to get an empty parking spot.

Curbside pickup would reduce the crowding of the parking lot, not increase it. If I go and browse through the store I might tie up a parking space for an hour. If I have curbside pickup I would only be parked for 5 minutes.

Costco competes on price not convenience.

Would love this too but wonder if bec part of costco core belief is get customer to wander aimlessly thru the store and certain additional value with them doing so where they add additional products they never intended to buy before they walked in
So much so that their own employees don't even know where half their products are located. aka, the "treasure hunt".

But remember, they don't 'profit off merchandise', as the margins are supposedly so thin that "membership fees" are the only way they make money.

Hopefully people have finally wisened up to this ridiculous lie and realizes the sole reason their inventory moves every single freaking day yet doesn't have named signs or aisles is to obfuscate the location of products in order for you to look through practically every damn aisle in the entire warehouse just in order to sell you more products (which according to a number of their own employees, they supposedly don't profit from). Sam's Club tells this to their employees too (or at least they used to).

Remember that the next time you're wasting hours inside these warehouses searching for an item that isn't in the same place as it was the last time you purchased it (even if that was < a week ago) at one of these membership clubs which some of us seem to love, if not worship. 'Murica

Staffing another 30 people wheeling around flatbeds doesn't seem to be the experience that they want.

Is this even worth it other than for people who cannot drive to the store?
I added 4 things and each was marked up by $4, which makes the $15 useless.

Yes. The gift card is added to your account. You can use it on both business same day and regular same day.

Thanks, that's good to know. This is like getting $15 off two times, once at regular and once at business using same gift card.
