Everyone owning e-bikes, EV scooters, hoverboards, and EV cars should know the Best place to store these are outside the home, so spontaneous battery fires don't burn down the home.
And NEVER leave them charging unattended. Like cooking on the stove, be within visual range at all times.
And NEVER try to extinguish lithium fires with water. Just won't work well. (One Tesla took 4+ hours with 30,000+ gallons of water.)
You'll want to move to burning bike outside (fire blanket, gloves) if the fire hasn't gotten raging big, otherwise, just evacuate immediately and call 911.
