I.e. if your email is [email protected], just sign up as [email protected]. Panera will think it's a new account and you'll still get all the emails to your Gmail.
I also always delete my phone number from the original account and then add it to my "new" account to make sure when I give them my phone number it doesn't get the accounts mixed up. Good luck.

What you are doing is creating a new membership. So no, you are not getting this deal as an old member. You are creating a new account.
You are explaining how you can get a fresh new Panera account and this new member only benefit without creating a new gmail account, if you already have gmail, and an already established Panera account with said gmail address , by using the period (or dot) trick. There is also the + trick, for those who don't know already.
Also, you cannot delete the phone number, but you can change it to whatever you like. Just another technical correction to your post, but a great tip I have also seen. Makes it easier to remember, versus making up new phone numbers for your new account. They do not verify phone numbers (for now).
By the way, some have reported that staff can tell you have multiple accounts, but I have never seen verification. Anyone with experience on that please chime in with any consequences.
In this case if you get this, after the first month has passed and you renew the second month for free (that's the way they do it), just set a reminder to cancel anytime after that but before they actually charge you. I think it says when you'll get charged in your account. You can cancel after the first renewal and still use it until the 2nd month runs its course
2. You're using a product you paid for/earned via a legit promotion. Why do you feel like a cheapskate? That's on you.
3. I did feel bad using so many plastic cups, so instead I bring my own reusable hydro flask. It's 32oz, which is the same size as their large cold cup.
Not the end of the world, since it is easy to create a fresh account.
You can verify this yourself by cancelling the 3 month promo that you just activated recently, then act like you are rejoining on the account you just canceled the sip club.
Your next billing date will be the next month. You lost the other 2 months of the $3 per month promotion. I just verified it myself.
P.S. This is also what happens if you cancel a FREE multi-month Sip Club subscription before the last monthly billing date. You will not get the remaining free month(s).

one solution if you have an iOS device like ipad or iphone is you can delete your old account under the settings. One of the requirements that apple requires with its partners if you have a log in via apple button even if you are using a gmail account.

If they do allow you repeating a phone number, I wonder how that would show on thier self-serve ordering kiosk? Multiple choice for you, the same as it would be for a cashier?
I never reuse phone numbers. New one every time. If you only want to remember one # though, you could change the Ph# you registered with expired "account 1" to something unique/original/never used for your accounts, then reuse your original number for a new account afterward).
I don't bother, since there is no 2FA as I mentioned, the only thing is you need to remember your account phone number if you are using a kiosk or a cashier.
Isn't that true of all restaurants? Also, why assume all people are driving to Panera? Most urban locations have no parking.
