Decided to swing by the Lynnwood location today. 65" C4 was priced at $1199. Said I wasn't planning on purchasing today. "Would you take it home if I said $999?" And here we are. Marked as YMMV, but guessing you could probably get it similar at other locations based on other Video Only posts. Again, limited to in store locations, WA, OR, and CA. Added a 5 year warranty for $100 but they would have let me purchase without.

That would be because they don't do online sales.

I Purchased the 77 G4 From them gave me a great deal for $2799.99 Brand New. The older bald guy was a great help. Go See them
That's not bad, but for reference it was lower in the other Video Only thread (someone was quoted $2700 - post #13). When I got my 77" G1 from them three years ago, it was $2899.

I'm thinking of moving to the 83" C4 or G4. I was hoping the 83" G4 would be closer to the lower $3Ks, but I was quoted $3900 when I called. The 83" C4 was quoted at $2600 which is tempting although I'd need a thin mount.

How bad is the burn in these days? Has that tech gotten any better?
From both my personal experience and from frequenting the relevant forums on Reddit and avsforum, I'd say it's largely a non-issue these days unless you only watch specific content constantly.

I've been on OLED since the 2017 C7 generation and was on Plasma before that. My C7 got burn-in at the 4 year mark, but that was fortunately repaired by OG (they were doing an unofficial warranty for burn-in within 4 years back then). I knew about it and wanted a panel swap so I found slides to showcase it around 12.5k hours. I actually didn't really notice it with content around 13.5k and had the swap around 14k hours or so. I snagged a 77" G1 at that time and still have that C7 with the newer panel, and at this point I don't have any burn-in I've noticed on either. This is on a mixed use (TV/movies/gaming) and no babying, but I will note we don't watch channels with tickers or logos very often.

Thx, I had plasma back in the day as well. What places have burn in warranty?

If you purchase the G series, it comes with a 5-year panel warranty. The first three years fully cover it in the last 2 years are Parts only but that's majority of the cost.

As you might expect, it depends on the item and how much you're spending there. First, there's more margin in some items than others. Second, just looking for a discount on a TV is different than a discount on a TV, surround sound system, UltraHD player, cables, installation labor, and extended warranty.
This is definitely the case at Magnolia.

Yep. Been this way at almost all big box stores for decades.
