Pyle is the P in POS. lol

Unseasoned buyers, the sweet spot $$ for lower priced amps are class d amps by a company like Fosi, get one wirh a decent DAC and bluetooth andyou are at a superb low end. Look a class a/b amps for the next level, such as a typical denon receiver.

Bought multiple of these, fun for the kids with a mic, and ok to use with extra speakers lying around, we used it for a party where we had to announce things, but there's definitely some static at higher volumes

Heads up that the speaker hook-ups will give you a lot of grief. The upgraded model has the banana plugs, which is what you want. I had a yamaha V-565 [crutchfield.com] receiver with similar hookups. Constantly had issues with wires disconnecting. I am so happy to have finally replaced that receiver.

I was eyeing Fosi for running outdoor, would love to get a better one class a/b as you mentioned. Can you share the product/link you recommend?

Depends, if you want one to play the sound wirelessly from your tablet or iPhone look for a class D amp that has Bluetoothand DAC, and airplay if apple, add speakers and you are set. Look at softawre and check connectivetiy (connectity is the lost link). Many amps, especially a/b have poor, ackward, unreliable wireless sound froma tablet.

If you want to run a record player you look for different, look for a proper phono in port.

A great pick for youtube on a tablet is a sonos roam. Whn using bluetooth on tablt it doesnt glitch when yoy switch thruogh videos. Only like a few sonos products. It has airplay, and alexa, and sns software suite.

Look for a new one on ebay or offer up for 80-100

Dont get this. Here are the alternatives: 1. Boombox: all in one. also works on batteries, 2. Car radio: Use it on the porch also good integration with phone, usb etc, 3. Bluetooth amplifier for $12: works great with phone. (https://www.amazon.com/Hosyond-Bl...B0DGTK6P4P) All these 3 alternatives are better in its niche than this item
