Type c matters to me for travel. Most of it not all of my devices are usb-c as it's easier to deal with 1 charger vs many. Even babylisspro newest clippers/trimmers are usb-c rechargeable now.
When I saw this, I had to leave a comment. Panasonic shavers are the best I've ever used and I've tried most of the major brands, including Braun. I just upgraded to the new $400 Arc6 only reason is because my last and first Panasonic was well over 10 years ago and the thing wouldn't wear out or die. The foil and blades last forever. Well, the whole shaver does because they are manufactured in Japan and their quality and materials and engineering is way above China, where everything else is made. The blades are made from Japanese steel which in general is much higher quality than Chinese steel. it's a no-brainer at this price because if it was any cheaper, it would be the same price as a new blade and foil replacement set. If you're on the fence just do it and you won't regret it. They are really nice and quiet and smooth. I can't say enough

I also have the usb-c model I picked up in Japan and it has been excellent so far. It's called the "Lamdash 5 Pro" over there and the model number is ES-L580U.

It's lighter, the head has more flexibility and articulation than the older ES-LV65 (Arc5). Otherwise it's shaves just as well. I upgraded since it was nearly the same price as buying a new foil/razer combination. I use the ES-LV65 for travel/backup now.

This thing is ginormous, its charger should be the least of your concerns. Battery charge should last you a week, if you're packing for longer, then again, luggage real estate for this cord shouldn't be a concern.
Yes, having every chargeable device use the same connector would be nice - I'll agree.

After getting ones from Japan which have been totally USB C for years now, I can't go back to a shaver without it. There charging consolidation is so nice while traveling.
compact near all metal bad boy... it's built for travel with a case, abeit it's not usb-c charging. feels solid and nimble in the hands. i dont use it just for travel.
Uh I think mine was used.. at first I thought it was fibers from the cardboard box but when I open the blade there was more of it inside
I ordered the Silver version. Saw a small hair when I opened near the trimmer. Then opened the main blade to find it caked with someone's hair. Absolutely disgusting. Amazon is providing UPS pickup for the return and gave me a $10 promotion credit. So ridiculous.
Mine came today, was in a brown box. Nothing was shrink wrapped or sealed on the packaging. Inspected it closely, no hairs or signs of previous usage apparent.
Recently when this was posted on here for a previous sale there were comments as to the reasons for the brown box packaging, might be a cost saving/less waste thing. Can't remember for sure.

Thank you! You save me some cash - found out from this page that this is essentially the same one that I have - ES-LV65-S
if i buzz once 5-7 days, forget it... 15min, and face is patchy, unit gets hot.
but once very 5-7 days is as often i feel like spending time shaving.
