Hoo boy. Here come the apples to oranges comparisons.

I bought this a while back from Lenovo (two of them, actually) each for a little less than this deal and they came with the keyboard case at the time. It's an amazing value for what it is. My main usage is for browsing, media consumption, and sheet music (using Mobilesheets).

Just ignore the "doesn't have OLED" and "you can get a better processor if you just spend $300 more" comments. It's great if you're looking for a large screen tablet with pen support at a reasonable price. It's likely not going to get any cheaper any time soon with the mad tarrif king in charge.

I picked up the p11 months ago and love it more than my a9 from Samsung. It won't compare to regular Galaxy Tabs with OLED screens, but against others in mid-tier, it's pretty slick. I use it for streaming ps5 and steam with my gamesir g8. I haven't had any issues with it doing what I want to do. The A9 gives me more problems with ps5 streaming.

Thanks for the comments.
May I ask if this Lenovo tablet is good for reading ebooks like pdf/epub format, especially for a few hours daily? Are the fonts clear like iPad? Thanks again!

How would this be as a drawing tablet? Occasional Roblox and perhaps tinkercad if I get the kid interested enough.

Hi, does it stutters/lag from time to time?
It has a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 (6 nm) with 8GB of RAM... this is the same speed as a snapdragon 6 Gen 1... which is considered the new low level CPU that they are starting to use but the reality is that it is not too bad.
To put things in perspective... Alldocube makes the iplay mini60 turbo which has the snap dragon 6 gen 1 with similar specs and it sells for $130ish. So how much money is the bigger screen worth?
But all in all, this is not a bad deal. it is an upgrade to the Samsung A9+, it is faster then the G99 tablets (which is how slow you should go... like don't buy anything that is slower then a G99).

should be pretty good. As said the speed is decent but it is considered the new LOW. That is the lowest level Chinese tablets are starting to use this CPU or the SnapDragon 6 Gen 1.
Is it good enough for Roblox... I don't think your kids will mind but you will not be able to put the graphic settings on max. I would say it is good enough for Roblox.
Specs wise, I would say it is a SOLID LOW LEVEL tablet... but it is SOLID.

I got one and returned it for a S9 FE and don't regret it
I am using S9 SE as well. It is the best bargain amount all those expensive Samsung new tablets. I bought it for less than $250 with edu discount, and I have seen it on sale occasionally for $300 or less.
Consider a typical high end Samsung tab S (S7, S8, S9) costs $600 to $900, this S9 SE seems to a bargain.

Sorry, that's not something I've tried. When I read sheet music pdfs, the text is clear. Other than that, I'm not sure.

don't buy. M and P versions of their tablets suffer from a freezing problem that has not been fixed in over a year.

Regarding Widevine support, according to Lenovo website: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/...tions-faqs
Q: Can the Lenovo Tab P12 stream most popular streaming services in best available quality?
Yes, it can. The Lenovo Tab P12, launched with Android 13, is designed to be compatible with various applications available on the Google Play Store, including popular streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. The Lenovo Tab P12 is Widevine L1 certified, which means it can stream at up to 1080p resolution on most streaming services, including Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Anyone have any idea how it compares the the Lenovo 11 Plus that was just released other than the quick two items below? I'm curious if the

11-Plus: Helios 99, more/better speakers
P12 - MediaTek Dimensity 7050 Octa-Core

Can you use either of them as a second monitor?

I have this tablet. It's... okay. I'm no power user, but I much prefer my Samsung S9 FE which I got for around the same price at the time. I found this one a bit too large to comfortably use around the house. However, and more importantly, it's a bit off. I do find that it lags sometimes with simple tasks, like switching apps and such. Nothing crazy, but it does stutter a bit. I don't play games on it or anything intensive, but if it shows slow down during everyday tasks, I can't say I'd be optimistic about gaming, etc.

I also don't really like the Lenovo tweaks to Android. I don't like gestures, but disabling them causes the menu buttons to move all the way to the side instead of in the middle. Also, it regularly tries to display quick access icons at the bottom (like with Mac/Windows), when I've told it not to. It's annoying to have to keep manually hiding that taskbar. Updates have been only a handful. Samsung hasn't been that great either, but better. I also have found since the OS updated versions, my GPS icon never shuts off unless I disable location. It will just randomly pop back on and stay on. No apps are shown to be accessing it. I think it has something to do with Play Services, or some other Google thing, but it's super annoying to have that icon on ALL THE TIME. Lenovo's solution was to format the thing and start over. I just gave up on it. As such, I find the Samsung to be a much better experience overall.

I will say the screen is pretty nice and bright to watch video and the four speakers was also nice. But the lagging and glitchy software, combined with the just-a-bit-too-large-to-comfortably-use size (for me, anyway), and I don't know that I'd buy another Lenovo tablet again. Samsung isn't perfect, but I think they have an overall better device for day to day use.

In Nov 2023, I bought what appears to be the exact same model for $271 from Lenovo, model ZACH0177US. I like it a lot, however, the pen/screen interaction is not that great. Annoying lag time, to the point you don't always know where the pen is going to write if you are being specific. Screen is way more vertical than horizontal. I love the price, it's all android but it runs microsoft products obviously. Battery life is pretty good, about 8 hours, screen is gorgeous. The biggest gripe beside the pen responsiveness is that the ipad pro is wider. I use it for piano sheet music, and I wish I could get things wider on the screen. Otherwise, seems about $35 cheaper than it was about 14 months ago. I have a regular ipad 8th gen, and it's definitely taller, equally as fast, but it's much more of an internet streaming, movie watching, good for the "airplane" type tablet, than a productivity or gaming one. Mine didn't have the pen, case, or glass screen covering.

I compared it to what I have. I'm not some hardcore tablet reviewer with stacks of tablets lying around. It wasn't meant to be some head to head comparison. Just my experience. Don't like it, don't read it.

I am thinking about picking this up to pair with G8 as well. Are you using any 3d printed part to fit it? Also, it's not too heavy?
No, I just leave the springs exposed. I may 3d print the cover eventually, but I'm lazy, and it's working just fine.

Not heavy at all, really. I play for hours on it. The battery life on the p11 is really good. I'm sure this one should be decent, too. I hardly play my ps5 directly anymore.
