Yes, this is the turkey bacon of the refried bean world. It may technically fill the role, but you just feel like you've done something *wrong*...

I'm going to try a couple just to see. They have 40% fewer calories than regular refried beans, which is good, but probably 40% less flavor as well.

I have that huge bag of tortillas chips from Costco and they expire in a week or so . Going to use these beans for making a version of super nachos . Usually I'd buy low sodium black beans but worth a try

TBH, I can't tell the difference between regular, no-fat and vegetarian unless I do a side-by-side taste comparison.

For non-fat, just put a little oil or butter in... and now u have traditional

I ordered 10 cans S&S of the Rosarita and also 12cans of the Old el Paso traditional

10 cans Rosarita
Item(s) Subtotal: $10.00
Subscribe & Save: -$1.50
Total $8.50 ($0.85/can)

12 cans Old El Paso
Item(s) Subtotal: $12.38
Subscribe & Save: -$1.24
Total $11.14 ($0.93/can)

For some reason, the vegetarian version "can't be shipped to my location" (Cali) 🤔

Good god. That's an absurd amount of sodium. 2170 mg of sodium per can….

refried beans are already low fat...top selling brand is El Paso and their regular refried beans have a whopping 0.5 grams fat: https://photos-us.bazaarvoice.com...64e6d6c85a

S&S option is not available for me. It still is for the vegetarian version.
