Premium and Ad Supported should not be in the same sentence.

Not as good as the $20 offer but still a great deal! To me, it's worth it even with the ads. I really like how Peacock places them. For those unaware, at least in my experience, it's about every 10-20 minutes they'll do a 30-90 second ad while watching shows.

As far as movies, some movies don't have them but most that do will play them all before the movie starts and you have no interruptions from there on. It's like 2 or 3 minutes of those ads but they're mostly promotion for other Peacock content.

Peacock is one where you can pay the difference and have the ad free version, right?

This throws me off as well. for a minute I thought my previously slick-dealed ad-supported subscription was upgraded without my knowledge. They should call it basic.

I'm getting almost 195 to 200 seconds of ads each time I start a movie and then each time there's ad break.

The shows are like that where 195 to 200 seconds at the start and then 60.seconds during the break.

I still like the service but it is getting a bit annoying to sit through that many ads. The i paid was also $20 but it's not worth more than that.

It says live sports for the ad version so does that mean it has the NFL games on it even though I don't believe this version has your local NBC station?

Yes this has all the Sports streaming only not the live NBC station.

Anyone remember when every WWE PPV was $50-$60 each? In the late 90s early 2000s?

That would be $116 today for one PPV. This is $30 for an entire year of PPVs, plus everything else that comes with peacock.

It's easily the best deal if you watch pro wrestling.

I still have the VHS I recorded of Unforgiven 2001. The only PPV my parents let me order after I saved MONTHS of allowance for it lol.

After a long time away from watching, it was nice to see that (most?) older PPVs/PLEs are readily available for me to watch whenever on Peacock.

Yep! I was able to pull up one of the old backlash PPVs and I could see a younger version of myself in the crowd. Was quite interesting.

Me too. Mine expires in May, but I most likely won't be renewing. I haven't launched the app in months. I can find everything I want using an IPTV service on my Firestick.

Hahaha, I remember frantically calling Cablevision when SummerSlam '89 wasn't working and we all missed the first 20 minutes. Good times.

The only way my parents would pay for it was if I had 5+ friends over to justify the cost. Insane.

fyi if you don't have instacart plus, right now it's only $20 for a year and it comes with Peacock. Might as well get it cheaper there plus instacart plus.
