Just sayin......
I just bought it yesterday to use for work and I had a copper run at home where I used a zip ties with holes for a screw that I used to dress the cable. This stapler works great for CAT6 cable. The staples are wide. If you can line up the center of the stapler to the center of the cable the staple goes around the cable perfectly. It also doesn't press down too hard on cable to damage the strands of copper in shielding.

But for $5 more at Home Depot, easier returns if there is a problem.

You do you
Did you remove your old cover, or just cover it up? I have seen people say you can do it both ways.
