FYI theyre not "crown staples," they're staples with a 3/8" crown. It's not a "crown stapler," it's a "3/8" Crown Stapler"
Crown stapler is still the common term for it.
The other type is a narrow crown stapler.
I have this stapler and it works well. Note that Amazon is not an authorized seller for Ryobi.

Was waiting for this one. Thanks! Ordered. I also use my manual one like thrice a year but I'm always reminded to get one of these afterwards.

Check your Uber Eats. I have a 40% off coupon (minimum $50, and $30 max discount) available for Home Depot. Price comes to:

$54.31 for Stapler (lol Uber inflation)
-21.72 from 40% off
$0 deliver fee (if you have Uber One)
$10.76 in taxes and fees (including a $9 service fee, lol Uber)

= $43.35 before tip

Also, pair this promotion with the 25% off Costo Uber Eats gift cards to save 25% off the discounted price.
the 40% coupon is in the ap?

How much older stock are the black and green boxes? My store didn't have the all green box version. The model P317 is the same and the unit is still green. Any reason not to buy it? Thanks.

Seeing all these comments about upholstery made me realize- I think this may be exactly what I'm supposed to use to put a new seat cover on my wave runner.
That's exactly what I used it for. (SeaDoo actually) but the OEM staples were like 1/4" or metric equivalent

I just bought it yesterday to use for work and I had a copper run at home where I used a zip ties with holes for a screw that I used to dress the cable. This stapler works great for CAT6 cable. The staples are wide. If you can line up the center of the stapler to the center of the cable the staple goes around the cable perfectly. It also doesn't press down too hard on cable to damage the strands of copper in shielding.

But for $5 more at Home Depot, easier returns if there is a problem.

Awesome- thank you for the response. Now just to get the battery charged, pick out some colors, and wait for warmer weather.

Did you remove your old cover, or just cover it up? I have seen people say you can do it both ways.

Just stumbled into a use case for one of these even though I didn't think I really needed one. I had a few manual staple guns and a small harbor freight air stapler so I thought I really didn't need this. Well my Arrow swing stapler jammed and wouldn't clear so I used that as an excuse to get this - thinking I'd take it back if it underwhelmed me. Well... now I see why it was rated so highly. I've been using it on a boat trailer to recarpet the bunks. Totally worth it for jobs like that. Even though it's the same staple as a manual stapler, it feels more substantial. If you have a use for one I so far recommend this.

Is this what one would use to staple a canvas to a frame? What length should I get the staple leg in? Thanks
