There is also $80 off if you think to buy only the tool brings to $319. I am torn in between.

Yeah, if you really don't need the batteries that's an option. The track saw has been hackable below that price in the past if you have some patience, but it's hard to predict.

Side note: amazing tool.. switched over to it from a Ryobi track saw and this thing has such power.

Yeah, I was hoping the hackable is back. But not this time. I have plenty of 5ah and one 8ah for my hedge trimmer. So the tool itself is good for me. But on the other hand $60 for 2x6ah battery is also good deal.

I'm in the same boat. I bought the Ryobi track saw on a slick deal and it's trash. So underpowered. Thanks for confirming the Milwaukee is the one to get!

The two HO batteries are hard to pass up and make the deal sweeter. I have some older 5ah kit batteries that probably are getting close to retirement. TU.

I just need a deal on their tracks since I prefer the anti-tip over feature

Anyone have thoughts on this vs the Makita corded? Makita regularly drops to this price but cordless sounds nice. Would unfortunately be the third brand of batteries in my garage.

I have both the M18 and the Makita 36V (not corded). They're both great, powerful saws and among the top of all available track saw offerings. The M18 has the advantage of having the riving knife (to help prevent binding/kickback), only needing 1 battery, and I suppose slightly better ergonomics (the depth adjustment, in particular). M18 also has a nice 'lock' function to help change blades.

FWIW: Makita (and Festool) tracks work with the M18, but I think the Festool track lacks the 'tip prevention' lip on the rail. For me, the M18's tip-prevention tab works fine with the Makita tracks.

The one gripe I have about the M18 is how stiff the plunge spring is. Makita's doesn't require as much downward pressure. I still have both saws because I haven't been able to bring myself to sell the Makita.

Agreed. Just pulled the triger and order one. I had also $100 off coupon. Made the deal sweeter.

Been waiting on a deal on this. Now which tracks are best?

Seems most recommend the WEN since it keeps the anti-tip feature.

No track. 70 bucks for 110 inches of WEN track on amazon.
