This impact on its own ($219 MSRP) in my opinion is a very good buy @ just over $100 on its own, so this seems like a no brainer to me.
This impact easily does lug nuts, suspension work, hub/axle nuts on my car & small SUV, YMMV on larger vehicles/trucks.

Was able to find this for the $129 last time this clearance was posted a month ago. Store had a dozen in stock but staff had to do some searching to find them stacked with the reserve of dewalt items in the wrong aisle. Good deal since it includes the 5ah battery if you are already using the 20v dewalts.

Same story with me. I went to two different stores, both showed in stock and only one store could find one. And they found only one when they supposedly had three left in stock.

I found that 129 deal too and the store had 3 I could see. It is definitely is worth the price and eased my regret for missing the Milwaukee M12 1/2" deal. Unless the M12 comes up again at an insta buy price, then the 450lb breakaway torque on this is close enough.

Edit: Just checked my acct and I got this on January 10th. The store still shows 2 in stock but at the new price of 136. Store is North Upland, CA in case anyone is close.

One store said 4 available on their website, 5 on their hand scan device, but they could not find any! How do you lose 5 boxes $250 each??

Is there different battery performance with these? The Milwaukee stubby needs a m12 ho5.0 battery to make the 550 breakaway.

Also just curious about the dewalt battery performance ranking too

Check Shop Tool Reviews. I believe he tests exactly that. From memory I think it was a tiny difference but not enough to worry about (unlike with the M12 situation).
