I got this after the battery in my Wyze crapped out. It is better. Better navigation. Has a sensor so it follows walls instead of constantly nudging them as it goes. Cleans rooms about 10% faster than the Wyze. Bigger dust bin. Much bigger battery. The suction motor is quieter on the lower settings. The brushroll does make some chattering noise on hard floors, but I imagine all silicone brushroll vacs probably do that. And unlike the Wyze, the brushroll runs all the time on rugs/carpet instead of stopping and starting constantly. I haven't used the mop.
From what i have read - mop cartridge removed = robot functional as vac and does not mop. Which is exactly my plan. I am not sure if you have to turn anything off in the app. Will know for sure later today after I set up.
Anyone know how this handles transitions height? I read a few reports of there being an ability to mark a "problem transition" in app - so that the unit takes a straight run at it?
Curious.
I passed on this last time - but gonna commit this time.
I can't speak to this model, but we have the Roborock Qrevo S and it tackles transitions and low obstacles no problem at all. Actually surprised me when it went over the large model train tracks we had around the Christmas tree this year.

Im thinking since I won't be using mop - that will help with clearance also. Thank you!

I got this a month or so ago and it is good at cleaning but the maps won't load sometimes and it gets stuck pretty often.
All robots do unless you make your space robot friendly. Meaning tie up and tape down loose cables, make sure furniture is appropriate height, avoid dark colored carpeting so doesnt trigger ledge detection halt, etc.
No robot shoved into most peoples homes will not have issues without making changes for the robot to work optimally.

You can buy extended warranty on anything and via amazon. But at 1/3 the price of the unit, it's not worth it IMHO.
Use a credit card that extends the 1 year warranty another year for free.
I got the Q5 Pro+, which I think is the same thing with a self emptying base for about $100 more. But speaking to just the vacuum part of it, I'd say this is a great deal. Runs quiet and picks up a decent amount of dog hair each run. It does have some trouble getting past a higher lip on a baby gate though.

If you want to get tiles clean, dont bother with these mop combo bots. they might do a good dusting, and if you want that on a regular basis, maybe, but they cant really mop any scuffs or anything other than being a wet rag dragged across the floor. Some maybe better, but nothing beats a real floor mop or machine..even the Sharkk dual spin floor tool does a great job, yet manual.
I have the basic of this, and it does a good job vacuuming.
