Besides, a computer is a lot more than just a gaming machine. Sure, consoles can do more than just game as well, but PCs can't be compared to consoles in a direct apples-to-apples scenario because they can do so much more.
That's not a knock on console gaming either - there's something about being able to spend a few hundred on a console, hook it up to your TV, and have a good gaming experience right off the bat. Consoles have their place.
Back to this PC, I think it's an okay value. Not tremendous but not terrible. Keep in mind if you're the upgrading type, the AM5 platform already has some built-in advantages. A few years down the road you could slot in a better graphics card and upgrade the CPU to either a higher tier 7000 series or 9000 series chip. PCs can be kept alive for a long time if you're of that mindset. I kept my last gaming PC for 11 years before getting something newer (I went from a machine built around a third generation Intel chip to one built around 12th gen).
