Rebates always go through, they just take months to do so. It will be a Menards rebate, meaning you have to spend it in-store, not online at a Menards.

Always keep a record of the rebate submission, either photocopy or photo image. In the small percentage of submissions that require follow up with Menards, you'll need to submit copies of the rebate slips and receipt in order to get paid.
Lots of online items now at Menards are not-brand-name, and some are with questionable quality.

Every time I get an email from Slick Deals it's either expired or after the price went back up. I have been following this coffee maker for 2 months, as the price slowly fell to $2.99. I got the Slick Deals email 4 days after it sold out, and 1 day after the price went up. In that order.
