Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
yeah, saw that yesterday when I got the drill/driver set with four batteries and mentioned it in that thread.
Placed the order yesterday and ready for in-store pickup. I have the Skil 5-1/2 that was on sale at amazon for $50. I'll compare the two when i pick it up. Since my order for the drill/driver is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday, I'll probably return the Skil since I'll have extra batteries for the M12..
is the hack simply return the battery? I don't have 5ah battery. only 2 2.5ah batteries. guess it is good to keep the battery?
yeah. The idea is to keep the one you want at the discounted price and return the other.
The receipt is suppose to list them individually with the discounted price.
Here's the link to the other thread for the driver/drill + four batteries. That may have been a mistake on the part of HD by adding the extra 5ah battery. https://slickdeals.net/f/18096586-milwaukee-m12-fuel-12v-lithium-ion-brushless-cordless-hammer-drill...
Have the old one for about 8 years now. It came out 11 years ago. Decided the new one had enough features for me to grab it. Hopefully I can get $40-50 bucks for the old one and then I won't feel like I'm wasting money.
My local HD doesn't itemize the list. Instead it just says free battery. Is it still hackable?
The HD website shows two options:
1. Saw with "free" gift which will be itemized.
2. Saw with the battery included as one item.
You want the first option.

I tried that and it's showing $159 total. Each item is receiving 43% discount.

*edit* so the 43% off each item that you see is correct. "Hacks" are best for people already in the ecosystem and don't need the extra batteries.
