I had good memories of the second movie - Chronicles of Riddick - so I bought the Arrow 4k release. Boy oh boy did I regret paying that much money for the movie. The script feels like it was written by a 12 year old. The action is decent but I couldn't overcome the script.

Haha I love these movies. I was the right age or something at the time these came out. Pitch Black is the best of the bunch. They also made a video game at some point that was great.

Pitch Black (the first movie) is by far the best. The focus isn't entirely on Vin Diesel and you don't know whether he is going to help them or murder them. The follow up movies aren't necessarily bad, but they're not must-see sci-fi.
