I love these and have waaayyy too many of them. I've moved 3 times in the last 5 years so have put maybe 200 on my walls (I cut them smaller) and only twice have they taken the paint off the wall - have used them to put up my records and nanoleaf lights and haven't ever had any fall.

I really prefer the CLAW things for anything over 5lbs. I know it leaves a little mark in the wall, but I've had command strips give out, and having 20lbs fall on a kid or dog or your foot would suck.

true. i think i've used the things you're talking about before but i've pretty much always used either command strips or just had shelves lol
