Not saying you would do this but this is a textbook red flag scam post. You're giving someone your code so they can redeem on their account. Even if they don't run off with the code, then you have to give up your personal information to get them to ship the book to you. I guess being on the internet long enough has made me paranoid but factor that in when you decide to trust in an internet stranger. Then again, this person could 100% be totally legit and is just a kind slickdealer trying to spread the wealth!

Book after shipping was over $10. Amazon was supposed to use my gift card balance for the overage. Instead, it seems it took the entire amount from my gift card balance and the $10 voucher. So now my total is negative $10. I know others have had this issue in the past. Does it even out later or do I need to contact customer service? Never had this happen before.

Amazon takes from your gc balance as a temporary hold. Sometimes the total appears as a negative amount on your invoice or order summary, but it will right itself once the item is shipped out. Just watch it closely and confirm all is good after it's shipped and received.

Lol. All valid concerns. I wouldn't scam someone for a code worth, what, $2 here? Worst case, you're out $2 of what you could have sold your code for, and your mailing address.
