In a pinch, I can charge a 16" MacBook Pro with a 20W charger.

Or I can run it all day on it, it might drain as I'm using it, but it can last a whole lot longer than just on batteries.

I can also charge: tablets, Kindles, flashlights, air pump, smart watch, ear buds, and who knows what else.

Old tech, what even charges at 20w nowadays besides old phones?

20w is not enough these days.
If you buy now you want at least 50w that can serve laptop and tablet at minimum.

I feel like Anker is trying to lower the overstock as I believe no one needs these nowadays.

These are pretty nice as long as you only use one port (just the USB C).

I got a bunch and put at least one in every room at the family vacation/lake house. This way nobody has to worry about remembering to bring a charger. Kids with all their electronics these days, this is very handy.

20 watts is plenty to charge a phone, tablet, nintendo switch etc.

They come with USB C cables so you don't have to buy cables separately. just throw it out when it breaks. Cheaper than buying cables separately

I like Anker and I even bought this deal once, but you seem to get two USB cables with no Anker branding and no information about their power rating.

Anker themselves make 30w and 45w chargers that are smaller than these, and they are much more suitable for a laptop. A 20W charger is basically ewaste at this point. It isnt even capable of charging an iPhone at full speed.

I got this for free with my order https://a.co/d/6sLcykS

Although looking back it seems to have gotten rid of the $6 coupon because of that
