got this via newegg/tiktok back in 2023 for $118 and find it great - no complaints. I have to charge the battery for a couple hours every 4ish months but all the storage is built into the device. I think you can pay a fee or buy a device if you want to store the footage off device but I'm in an apartment and not too worried.

If it's hardwired does it still need battery recharge?

For those asking, this Eufy E340 can be ran as battery powered or hardwired (I have 2 of these). I know it's confusing on some website saying its either or, but I've ran mine just off battery up until I hardwired them. Switched from Blink doorbells and these Eufy ones work so much better and way quicker loading time for live view (I also have these paired to a Homebase 3 so not sure if that's also helping). Very good video quality and the nighttime lights are nice, especially since you can change the light temp to match any outdoor accent lighting lol.

My Nest doorbell went tits up. Time for a new one. BBY has this back at $119. I've had both Eufy and Nest. I prefer Eufy over Google with doorbells. Good stuff.
