I got this a year or so ago and I love it. Cold brew coffee at home is the way to go! Great price too!

Nice, been really liking the store bought cold brew lately. It's WAY stronger than a regular cup of coffee, but I have tons of grounds just sitting unused. Excited to make them into cold brews!

Looking at this, my only concern is with extraction. When i first started cold brewing, i used one of those mesh cones in a jar... and that is essentially what this is. I have since switched to the OXO one, and it makes significantly better cold brew.

I bought their 8 cup French Press (7.99) from TJ Maxx. Made in China. No complaints.

Love this thing. I wish it was bigger but then I would have an even harder time fitting in fridge. Easy to clean (just of course don't dump grounds into your sink). After some testing this is my recipe which borrows from pour over. 65g ground beans with 1200ml water. Any less would not cover completely and any more is too watered down for me. I need to use a long spoon to move the grounds around after putting in water. I do min 48 hours but a third day is even better. Yes strong makes the hairs on my body stand up!

Which one are you using? I have the other one with the cone shaped filter and I want something better.

Might I recommend using coarse ground coffee for cold brew? If you don't mind having more coffee sedimentation at the bottom of your cold brew you should be fine to use regular medium ground coffee but I prefer grinding coffee beans myself or getting coarse ground coffee.

I've tried many different methods, and devices, and the first one I tried (and later broke) was noticeably the best - both in output quality and ease/mess.

Unfortunately also the most expensive (wayyy overpriced for what it is) and biggest space taker: Oxo Good Grips CB coffee maker.

Good call-out! My sister in law lives with us and she works at Starbucks, so she gets me free coffee. Typically, I have her grind it for espresso, but I'll make sure she changes to a more coarse grind for this!

I use Oxo Good Grips. The bigger version, might be labeled as 32 or 40 ounce. Love it, love the company for backing it up

To be fair, I got it for free... which makes what i am about to say even crazier.

Not only is Oxo cold brew maker great at what it does, the company backs the product up. I have gotten 3 free replacements from them, twice the metal screen, and once essentially the entire thing, including a new carafe. I didn't even buy it to begin with. Love Oxo
