I was wondering the same thing, so I found this with a google search: The Anker Soundcore Select 4 Go is slightly larger than the JBL Go 4. If tiny is what you need, the JBL is the way to go. On the other hand, if you're looking for better sound quality in a still very portable package, the Anker is the better pick. The Anker has a longer battery life than the JBL, gets louder with less compression at high volumes, and has a more balanced treble range that renders sounds like cymbals accurately and with detail.

I've had both, and this is louder, but the JBL sounds better and much more balanced. And this is larger than the JBL, not pocketable at all.

So basically if you want a better speaker, JBL. If you want a bigger speaker, this one.

I bought two of these last week during the previous $20 deal to pair them into TWS mode. The stereo sound they produced was very impressive.

Tempting but I already have a sony xb100 and tribit xsound. For 30 the xsound is a nice little pill form speaker

In for one. Will replace my old Phillips 'grenade' speaker with Micro-usb and the speaker has no buttons on it lol. And it's only 2 watts. Attach to my tennis bag for ball machine sessions!

Soundcore Select 4 Go normally beats the JBL in review comparisons.

Seems to be significantly wider and thicker than the JBL….in case you are looking for something compact to pack.

I got one for my kid specifically because it's only 5 watts. Don't want him to get tinnitus.
