Most of the reviews are written by idiots. They will say it doesn't stick to the phone and only charges with the phone completely still. Guaranteed they aren't using a MagSafe compatible case.

Might've been some recent change.

I have this and the phone and puck does indeed get hot but so has it with other MagSafe/wireless chargers. Again my comparison is Ravpower and IKEA's wireless chargers. I've never used the Apple OEM.

Overall it's worked well with my iPhone 16 Pro and previous 12 Pro. Never have received the high temp warning. So far have 128 cycles on the 16 pro and battery health is at 100% fwiw. Silicone case so that might be helping with heat.

I picked this up from Wallyworld today. Plugged it into a USB-C with 15w of power and it worked as promised. Good magnet connection. Cable is nice. All good.

That has a 1 meter cord. That is just too short.

It's half the size of the product in this deal, that we are commenting on. I think 6' is short personally. 3' is way too short.

No thank you. Paid reviewers are a thing! I can weed them out better than you

I had a target branded (heyday) magsafe charger just quit on me. Doesn't charge or anything. This has made me weary of third party magsafe chargers. The two OEM chargers in my car have been solid. A few bucks more for the OEM seems to be the better bet.

I bought 2 of these March 2023:
Sister uses hers daily. Charges her iPhone while she's making breakfast and getting ready for the day, then while making dinner. Hers still works.
Son used his daily. He would charge while going to bed, fall asleep and wake up and take off the iPhone. His stopped working in November. The constant moving, pinching, possibly covering the Magsafe and it heating up caused the failure.
Don't move or cover the Magsafe, use it for short times, this should be fine.

Yeah but Woot can't be trusted selling "new" items
