I own these.

When they work, they work great. But the rechargeable receiver depleted in less than 30 mins time DURING a presentation. Now it won't hold a charge at all. They were bought brand new.

Stay away!

This happened to mine and I sent it back. The replacement wouldn't charge also. The solution was to use my oldest, slowest USB-A charger/cable and that actually worked. It could not use a modern high power usb-c charging block.

Are these much better than the cheap bluetooth ones you can buy? I just installed karaoke eternal and want something thatll be compatible with my receiver. I assume these are as well as the cheaper no name brands.

These are and for jbl partybox and use 2 AA batteries. Newer version is rechargeable.

Yes. I use the usb cable that comes with them, plug into the usb port on the speaker to charge it and turn it on to connect to the microphones. Works fine.

These are jbl partybox microphone. They are older version and use 2 AA batteries. Newer one is rechargeable.
