If you think $14+ a month for decades-old releases is amazing, wait 'til you hear about late-night broadcast TV!

I enjoyed The Wind and the Lion when I saw it a few years ago. You have to get past Sean Connery playing a Berber with his Scottish accent, but the Teddy Roosevelt scenes steal the show.

I love youtube premium. Had it for around 3 years for the no ads experience. But what youtube video creators are doing now is putting long "sponsorship" ads in their videos. Not right.

Use SponsorBlock extension on browser. Some modded android apps (phone, TV) also has SponsorBlock integrated/built-in into its code. It works wonder.

I believe YouTube is experimenting a "smart" skip button that jumps to where most users manually skip ahead, effectively an ad skip button.

Premium users only, and turn on "experimental features" in your settings. I don't think everyone will get to try it, but I do have it now.

Arguably the best movie amongst these turds is Mr Nice Guy starring Jackie Chan as Jackie who is a professional something that happens to be a world class martial artist.

If you like serious movies, 2 of the best are on this list:

The Year of Living Dangerously
Michael Collins

The first is set during the onset of dictatorship in Indonesia; the second during the fight to end dictatorship in Ireland.

Engrossing stories, great acting, and fine filming.

This is Lionheart from 1990 with Jean Claude van Damme not the 1987 movie with Eric Stolz.

This is a fascinating look at an era when they made movies that weren't just all superhero movies or sequels or both.
