This is true and useful information, but at $5/24 imo for a lot of people this is a reasonable way to spend an extra few bucks to save doing that (especially if you don't have those things on hand). I probably won't have to think about this again for a year or two, and I don't have one or two of the needed items which would make it a bigger initial cost (tho admittedly having some citric acid around isn't a bad idea...)

idk i'm not trying to crap on your idea though!

This is oxyclean, washing soda, baking powder and citric acid.

You could easily make your own for pennies.

Price shows up as $9.99 and coupon is available for both one time and S&S but the price goes back to $16.99 at check out. So, it's $8.49 after discount.
