I saw that too, my guess they were user error. If you need that much torque just put a wrench on the provided shaft nut area. I have never had a bad experience with a Milwaukee tool.

This is my go to daily screw driver, I usually only tighten by hand but it has a place you can torque an open ended wrench on it. I never have.
