This actually looks better than the Kishi Razer which seem like a good idea but ended up being implemented somewhat poorly being the left and right sides are linked via an elastic band, not rigid. (The V2 USB C version at least) Even with 3D printed custom phone adapters the thing still 'flaps' while being used. Also doesn't work with any but the insanely thinnest cases. Wonder how this 8Bitdo works with a (normal) phone case.

I've got a Samsung S23+ with a standard case on, and I can confirm this does work without having to take the case off. A word of warning though: if you are using Google Keyboard, this will not work properly. For some reason, it causes delays and connection issues. Otherwise, I love this thing.
