Sure. Nikon Z mount
Focal length doesn't change only the crop of a sensor. You are correct in this case with an APS-C crop of 1.5x.
That said, I would never discourage a DX user from buying an FX lens, before establishing if they one day plan to go full frame since all FX lenses can be used on DX.
....Usually with better performance since you're getting more of The Sweet spot.

Nope. This takes perfectly great pictures, but it's focus is run-and-gun, video content creation.
In all honestly and personally speaking I can't remember the last time I saw anyone use on board flash for anything higher-end than a cellphone so that feature is not missed.

OK but say you are on vacation and you want to take a picture during low lighting or night time. Pretty embarrassing to have to put this away and take out your phone to do the job. Sometimes you are forced to take a shot with the sun behind the subject and needs some illumination for their face. Sure, pros may know how to get around this but this camera is tailored towards amateurs and it's just easier to flip up a flash to help you out. It's not like this is a full frame camera.
I mean, there's that hot shoe right on the top. Grab a $30 godox tiny flash if you need one. Meanwhile, don't burden the rest of the market with your 1995-style need.
What's the point of the portability if you need to get an external flash. Again you have to look at the target customer base.
Are you telling me you have never needed to ever use a flash ever? Group picture outside of a restaurant after dinner on vacation with no lighting?

I've owned this camera for months. I bring an SB-400 when I want to use a flash. It fits in a pocket. Quite portable. The tiny Godox I recommended is more along the lines of what you'd get from a built-in, and it's smaller than my keys. Less flash than I want, but it meets your output requirement.
BTW pretty much every apsc mirror less camera in this price range has a built in flash so not sure what you mean by 1995.
This camera is intended for people who wants to start their photography beyond a cellphone. 90% of them will not want to bother with having to get an exterior flash. That's the reality. I was just pointing this out in case there are people like that who are considering this. If you don't need it good for you, but for some people it's a deal breaker.
I would say this $400 is better spent on (iphone) pro, (S25)ultra for most people with d5xxx. D5xxx are small, they are just thicker than zf. Best thing about them today is that they are battery worry free.

At the same time, I've gifted this same camera to people in high school and they've never complained about a lack of flash. The high ISO capabilities make it fairly moot.
And also, you may have missed the fact that this lacks a viewfinder – it's aimed at people wanting to break into video more than photos. But people who are used to taking photos with their phones don't miss a viewfinder so much.
