I ordered this for an upcoming trip and received it this morning.
I tried it after fully charging it and the pressure on medium and high is pretty good. I've always used the high setting on all the water flossers I've owned, since the low is just too low for my liking, same as on this one.
As I said, I just fully charged it, and the pressure is always higher when recently charged. We'll see how it is after a few more uses.
The size is really nice. I've always had "portable" flossers, but they've always been too bulky to travel with. I don't see an issue sticking this one between clothes in a carry on.
As you'd expect, it holds less water. I had to refill, something I rarely have to do with the other ones. That won't be a huge problem for me, since I'll only be using it for travel.
It comes with 4 nozzles, but they all have the same color ring (pink). It would be nice to come in different colors for when family members share the flosser (using different nozzles, obviously).
For me the real test will be how long it lasts. All the cheap water flossers I've had have crapped out in between 12-18 months with daily usage.
Anyone try this? The full size version has pretty good pressure modes.
I use this to clean things around the house like the shower, the chain on my bike, toilet and it works pretty well. Just gotta bring a bucket or something to keep refilling it
I like the idea of this and have often thought I'd like small water flosser to maybe carry in the car as I do much driving and can be gone most of day. Yet the small size and design are going to have limitations and I imagine it is not going to be anywhere near as nice or powerful as the full sized ones.
If you really need one for the day the full sized can carry in a backpack or similar and I think you would be better served getting one of those and they are cheaper if you catch the $10 deals that keep showing up here.

It's not a replacement for flossing, heard from a good hygienist that it's just pushing stuff around and not actually cleaning so maybe ok for surface level stuff.
You heard wrong. Water flossing cleans better than regular flossing. I'd advise to not take people's word for stuff and do you own research and more importantly do not give others bad advice that can negatively affect their health. I would also recommend to stay away from that particular hygienist that does not seem to know their own field of study. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24282867/

Yes, water flossers can be more effective than string floss at removing plaque and improving gum health. They can also be easier to use for people with limited dexterity.
How water flossers compare to string floss Plaque removal: Water flossers can remove up to 29% more plaque than string floss.
Gum health: Water flossers can reduce gingivitis and gingival bleeding. Ease of use: Water flossers can be easier to use for people with limited dexterity, such as those with braces or arthritis.

Another day, another promoted Bitvae product. I wonder what tomorrow's dental service is going to be. This isn't a special deal. It's always this price.

You're going to rust he chain on your bike. No need to floss the links you actually need to lubricate them n
Price trackers do not include coupons, making them much less useful for all these no name companies/products that are running constant coupon "promos".
Even right now camel shows $19.

All these companies game the systems as best they can. Bitvae definitely gets promoted hard on forums. Doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, but it does mean every "deal" and it's vote popularity is a little suspect.
Yes but here you can get it for $13.99 which means it is still near 30% off the $19.99 price right now on Amazon. That is deal territory and it is not regular price.
If you mean by gaming the system cutting prices to get the product out and this case to push into the lucrative US market and get name recognition you are right but that is what makes it a deal. Not long ago no one heard of Kizer and they pop up selling spacatulary nice knives very cheap as they gained name recognition and acceptance in the American market they raised prices. They even gave them away to reviewers. There was a marketing game played but that is how it is always played with any any product. People that caught on early and realised the value of the product gamed that system as much as the company gamed, later buyers did not get in on the game lost. That is in fact one of the miracles of the market as both parties in a transaction walk away with gain. It is not zero sum game when someone promotes it can bring value to the consumer, maker and retailer.
Being on SD you have to get the concept of price discrimination. Every deal on here is in fact promoted just like that in one way or another. The manufacturer or retailer is looking out for their interest by lowering price for some reason. Some lower prices as they have a clunker that they want to get rid of and others lower them to get name recognition and market share with the idea of having consumers coming back for other products, upgrades or replacements. If you have not noticed China is doing that heavily and not surprisingly many of the products are actually very nice.
I "game" the system by buying at that lower price do you really advise me not to?
The thing here is that the full size Bitvae that I got for $10 is a spectacular deal and great product so far with near a year of use. Comparable imported brand name yet China made products run $50 and up and get worse reviews. My $60 Waterpik made in China was complete trash.
Who does game the system is brands like Sonicare and Waterpik that kind of fool people into believing that they are US made products when they are not.
Your theory can be and is true yet it applies to almost 100% of sale prices of any kind. It also has nothing to do with the product itself. The vibe seems to be that is some kind of ripoff and that is not true.

Tell that to the shower flosser I picked up for $20.
It takes soap scum right off the shower walls, so there's no way it's not providing some cleaning to my gums.
Besides, a lot of these hygienists don't account for the fact that even if water flossing was less effective, it's still better than the zero amount of flossing most of us would be doing without it.
