Katanas are about the worst build quality you will see in a laptop. I bought one a few years back and ignored all the hinge warnings because the price was great. I used mine as a desktop replacement, very gentle, and the hinges still snapped within 6 months. Very cheap plastic all around. This is not a machine you can use as a traditional laptop. Reasonable value for specs if you know you just want a stationary desktop replacement and you can be VERY careful with it.

Thank you for the input. I am not familiar with the Katanas. I do not need a gaming laptop, but I saw the specs and thought someone might want to take a shot.
