I don't know about the Gilroy Gardens specifically, but I have used this at dozens of venues and the typical experience is to pull up the getoutpass on your phone and hit redeem. it then has a vendor accept button that they push and you are good to go. I haven't ever had the pass rejected. I payed 660 dollars in my state for my family of 6 and we were able to do right around 2500 dollars worth of admissions

NJ / Philadelphia region (84.95$ pass) has some decent attractions if you live nearby. Sesame Place (minimum 30$), Philadelphia Zoo (minimum 15$), Sea life and Legoland Discovery at American Dream (usually 40$, can be had for less, I ascribe 10$ to sea life and 15$ to lego for their value), Northlandz (usually 30$), 2 Funplex locations (usually 22$ onwards) and so on.

It's $64.95 for SoCal on Groupon. Am I missing something?

Probably not. Most attractions are free for under 3.

You're not missing anything, the discounts & value seem all over the place for different regions. NorCal for example is only $34.99 with code DUSAVER, that's a great value for those going to Gilroy Gardens. SoCal just doesn't seem worth it right now.

My family had it before and did lots of activities. Some places we still visit years later, so it worked well for the businesses too.

I don't see as many multi-visit deals as I remember before. There were more that would allow you to visit once a month or once a quarter. Our local skating rink was once a month before, now it's just one visit per pass holder.

Still could be a good deal for someone who wants to experience some new activities.

Looking through the DFW pass, I quickly spotted 2 vendors that went out of business more than 6 months ago. Buyer beware.
Is it worth for dfw

Almost all of the Norcal attractions are outside of the bay. Not sure if I wanna drive an hour to use the coupon book.

Ultra gaming inside a mall and the Mad Axer both locations listed but owner closed business. False advertising

I wish they had a list of locations so you didn't have to click through each one. The NC collection is about half east of Fayetteville, so if you are down east it might be a deal (still it would take a lot of driving). Everything else is wildly spread out, there's something in Clayton to a few things in Asheville. Not a chance I'd break even out of the Triangle, and probably not for my Triad relatives either. Maybe they'll get some more stuff in the population centers next year...
there seemed to be some in Burlington and Mebane - so that might be close enough. I agree with your Triangle comment. Also a lot are only good M-F
