I don't know about the Gilroy Gardens specifically, but I have used this at dozens of venues and the typical experience is to pull up the getoutpass on your phone and hit redeem. it then has a vendor accept button that they push and you are good to go. I haven't ever had the pass rejected. I payed 660 dollars in my state for my family of 6 and we were able to do right around 2500 dollars worth of admissions

NJ / Philadelphia region (84.95$ pass) has some decent attractions if you live nearby. Sesame Place (minimum 30$), Philadelphia Zoo (minimum 15$), Sea life and Legoland Discovery at American Dream (usually 40$, can be had for less, I ascribe 10$ to sea life and 15$ to lego for their value), Northlandz (usually 30$), 2 Funplex locations (usually 22$ onwards) and so on.

Looking through the DFW pass, I quickly spotted 2 vendors that went out of business more than 6 months ago. Buyer beware.

My eldest keeps wanting to go to the many rinky-dink amusement parks around... They run about $25 when on sale. The LB Aquarium, Natural History Museum and Tar Pits are world class.

I've got a membership to one of the Aquariums... How tight are the ID checks?

Edit: $20 cheaper on groupon.

I thought it was a reasonable question because I thought this was one of those large coupon book type of passes. For that one you only needed one for an entire family. I can see now this is more like a "season" pass for each individual holder where you get to enter all these attractions with the pass.

Northern CA is alright... Gilroy Gardens and Aquarium of Bay SF is probably worth the price. Everything else seems to be far/Sacramento

I'd bite on SoCal if it was the price of NorCal. Adventure Lagoon, Raging Waters, and Aquarium of the Pacific are good
Some of the N. Californian attractions are in Nevada.

I noticed that for the Southern California one is only one visit and that's all. La Brea Tar pits museum entrance at the museum is $18. Boomers has passes at their site $25 for 2 hours....And that is the only two places I'd be interested for the Southern California pass for this deal. I think it is not a good deal for me. Thanks for letting us know though!

Last time I bought getout pass, after buying they changed most of the offers I wanted. All the new offers were minimum 30 mins drive from my location and not worth the money I paid. Won't take a chance again
Yes this is a risk with the pass. Offers are subject to change. I've seen them add and remove vendors, and also change the date restrictions.

Nothing in the central coast area, but SoCal and NorCal have good attractions. SJ Valley too.
Thr SoCal one is almost all San Diego attractions. It didn't look good for the L.A. area. IMO

Heard about this website/option for the first time.
Is this legit? And has anyone renewed membership with them (trying to understand if it is worth getting passes for all family members)?

It's legit, I've had it for a few months. I started with one and ended up getting it for everyone since most of the attractions require one pass per person.

The only thing is technically the list of attractions & blackout dates are subject to change.

"I am going to get two passes for my wife and me. We have a two-year-old child and plan to bring her with us. Should we buy a pass for her too?
