FYI this is not a separate novel, but a collection of the 8 (more like 7.5) different novellas. The Churn is my favorite but this price for all of them is pretty slick.

This isn't the book series. This is the complete collection of short fiction novellas from the Expanse universe, including a brand-new novella set after the events of Leviathan Falls and author's notes on each story.

If you liked the show, the book is insanely better. Much more detail and depth.

I'm on book 3 and finding the jump from book 2 to 3 to be a confusing transition. I feel the series did a better job of transitioning the idea of the Ring formation better. I had to restart the last book's chapters and listen to it and then also the novella that goes between again for clearing up that it just seemed to "appear" between the two books unless I missed something.

The Drive novella is interesting backstory.

I think for the collection of novellas, that this is a good deal.

I find it amazing that a ebook can cost more than a physical book, but that is very common. You can get these ebooks through Overdrive at many library systems, just has a bit of a wait on the newer and more popular books.

This is definitely worth it, but keep I. Mind that all of these are available as audiobooks for free on Hoopla and Libby.
