The machine is fantastic. I've got the recipe I use memorized and it takes me 5 minutes to prep. I set the timer and wake up to a fresh loaf of bread. I use it 3x a week, worth every penny.

I damaged one of the paddles because I failed to remove the paddle from the bread and cut into it. I replaced it for like $15.
After a while the teflon in the pan started noticeably chipping so I decided it was unsafe for use. I could have replaced the pan for $60 but I felt like it would have been a sunk cost at that point. No telling what else would start failing in a 20+ year old device
I donated it back to Goodwill and maybe someone else wants to risk it.
I've been checking Goodwill pretty regularly for a replacement but haven't found another Zoujirushi. Most of the other cheap ones at thrift stores have some teflon damage.
I've been waiting for this one. Going to get it later today if it's still available.
