I get it when made in China sucks, but I got an American made product (Whirlpool), been having a headache with the warranty. Had two attempts and all failed and refuse to send me a new Fridge. Got ahold of corporate and I tell them look my concern is this thing giving up when warranty is done. All they did (which had to push) add an extra year of warranty. If it went to shits I rather buy a new Fridge honestly.

I have the version with ice dispenser, the drawer wheel is so weak and it broke on both drawers after 1-2years, still haven't found replacement parts yet, wouldn't recommend it

My problem is, I want a new refrigerator, my whirlpool side by side with ice on the door has the worst ice maker ever....usually a few times a month I have to take the cover off and "fix" and the ice maker. When looking up refrigerators, looks like they are all really bad, but especially Samsung and LG. So it's hard to figure out what is reliable.

Also to add my Whirlpool is about 12 years old, but been dealing with the ice maker issue for about 5 years, now when it tires to make ice, it kicks on the water and doesn't stop, so had to manually turn off the maker.

Most are.
Not sure any of them are good, certainly not built for longish term reliability.
I had a new GE cafe french door refrigerator that was bad from the start. They tried repairing 4 times, including 2 new compressors. They finally gave up and gave be a new fridge. No compensation for the 4 times everything had to be tossed out because of the fridge.
