If you're going after wooden cooking utensils, these are decent. Olive wood has a distinct grain pattern that is aesthetically appealing. The spoon and flat spatula turner are great. The split spoons are used for salads when I remember to grab these, and yet are mostly included for appearance than anything. The spoon with holes - I haven't found a use for yet as I'd hate to clean it.

Moving poached eggs, ravioli, etc. from the cooking water directly to the dish.

Wooden spoons are all generally hand wash only.

Olive wood utensils are generally more expensive than 'standard' wooden utensils

I recently bought a nice olive wood cooking spoon from World Market for about $10, so this is a very good price for the set. The large flat spoon with holes can be used to fish ravioli out of boiling water but I'd hate to have to clean it for any other application, as I expect you'll need pipe cleaners. It's hard to speak to the quality of these but the spoon I bought was beautiful and useful. I have other olive wood utensils and they are hard wearing and attractive. I'd never put them in the dishwasher though. Mild soapy water is fine.

Probably unusual. But I do clean my wooden utensils in dishwasher. They are holding well so far. Might reduce the life of it. But I am ok with it.

Doing the same... Although, my wife always seems to find more plastic utensils and Teflon pans to reintroduce to our kitchen.

Got these yesterday. I'd say they seem worth the price but not a super deal by any means.
