In most countries, the percentage sign (%) is placed after the number (e.g., 50%). However, in some languages and regions, it is common to place the percentage sign before the number. This is primarily seen in:
1. **Turkish**: In Turkey, the percentage sign is often placed before the number (e.g., %50).
2. **Arabic**: In Arabic-speaking countries, the percentage sign is typically placed before the number (e.g., ٪50).
3. **Persian (Farsi)**: In Iran and other Persian-speaking regions, the percentage sign is also placed before the number (e.g., ٪50).
ie. Plug the device into an outlet, then take the pencil to the breaker panel and point?
EDIT:I believe I'm thinking of this. [amazon.com]
