50 downloads, no reviews - what's happening there?

update: this 'smart' version has zero reviews - i think this is a high price for taking a chance with a brand new product _and_ brand new app. also sneaky of this brand to have it piggy-back on a different product.

I was excited to see a deal on a weather station as I want to replace mine. The top reviews looked weird and are all within the past couple of weeks. Ran it through a fake review checker (Fakespot) and it readjusted the ratings to 3 star and gave it a C. After taking a look at the critical and lower ratings this is a hard pass for me.

I wonder if you can check the forecast on your phone these days?
Maybe they'll develop a weather app you can dedicate to an old tablet making it a "weather station". Cool stuff.

ALL of the 1-star reviews are for the "basic" version, not the "smart" version on sale here. Went to Sainlogic website, and basic version is there but smart version is not there. Too new perhaps?

If there were any way to tell if it was just an ESP device in the case, to reflash with ESPHome for use with HomeAssistant, that would be awesome.
The purpose built devices are so much nicer than using a bloated Android tablet, but their locked ecosystem makes utility rather limited.
