This one will go as low as Part 2 did. This game flopped, and it flopped HARD.

Double Exposure did not flop, 74 metacritic score isn't a flop.

This game is certified trash. There is literally not an ending to this game.

I've studied and watched a lot of movies, tv, and played a ton of narrative games. Outside of ethically wrong media, this is by far the worst constructed piece of media I have experienced.

The developers have a hatred towards the original characters while copying and- incorrectly copying elements from the original. New characters are erratic and there are multiple plot holes that are difficult to look past. Max is a visiting professor and there is not one single teaching scene in the whole game- which I guess could be fine but there's so many parallels they could've drawn from the original with her actually teaching.

I almost never full-stop say not to watch a movie or play a game. I really don't think anyone should play this.

Metacritic scores are sales now? I didn't know that.

It flopped enough to get the majority of their team at DeckNine fired or laid off.

Square Enix even said as much in it's quarterly earnings, which communicates this to their stockholders.

Go try to convince shareholders the Metacritic score is what matters.

A lot of great games over the years have had bad sales so I wouldn't necessarily combine the two by default. Eternal Darkness, Okami and Beyond Good and Evil comes to mind, classics that had bad sales.

I've played Eternal Darkness, Okami and Beyond Good and Evil. I've beat Eternal Darkness, Okami and Beyond Good and Evil. Eternal Darkness, Okami and Beyond Good and Evil are some of my favorite games ever. This game is no Eternal Darkness, Okami or Beyond Good and Evil.

I am sure of that but you said since when are Metacritic scores sales?! Well, since when are sales Metacritic scores?! Hence the analogy...

The game got more hate than it deserved IMO. I thought it had particularly great voice acting and facial motion capture. The plot was serviceable.
That said, I'd wait for the $20 mark for this one.
