Insane price. Somewhat inconsistent capacity per Will Prowse's excellent tests, but basically worth it at such cheap prices. Even if they end up lasting only 7 years or whatever

edit: Will Prowse is a Youtuber who tests various solar and battery products as well as runs a forum for building your own systems. Recommended for more research
FYI this is 4 of the 5kWhr batteries, not 4 of 20kWhr batteries.

Any recommendation on how to best set this up to your home solar panels (micro inverters) while connected to the grid? Tia

Wonder if this is worth it to run my home server. Uses 10kw per day but i have free nights plan... Run on batteries all day then recharge for free at night? Intriguing.

I have 6 of these and have 17 cycles over the last month or so. They have been working fine but they always report about 10% less than what my victron shunt reports when at less than 50% remaining (so the Eco-Worthy app will say these batteries are at 40% when the victron shunt has only measured 50% of the battery bank being used). I have these 6 in addition to 12 EG4 batteries. They are also a bit finicky with their Wi-Fi connection. Currently 2 of the 6 are offline for seemingly no reason. I power cycled the batteries this happened to about a week ago and was able to connect them back to Wi-Fi, not sure if this is just something I'll have to do every once in a while. The terminal covers are also kind of a joke, they sorta work but should have notches cut to allow you to use the wires that come with the battery. They are short enough that you have to wire them like they show in the pictures, which makes the covers not work. Oh and these seemingly will communicate with every other inverter type than EG4 6500ex inverters, so a bit of a bummer I have to run in user mode.

All that said, I saved more than 2k going with these over another EG4 rack. I'm still evaluating my setup to see if I need more capacity and if I do I'll buy another 6.

Edit: my comment about the covers not working the best applies to wiring these so the communications ports are not blocked. Now that I know I can't run comms I could wire them to work with the covers.

How much does your provider charge per kw? Around here it's around 12 to 14 cents per kilowatt. Your payback period would be nearly a decade..
