Any big differences between this and the one on Amazon in terms of quality?

I'm not familiar with the camera brand you linked but speaking just to the brand rather than specific cameras, I have Eufy cameras at locations in 3 different towns. I can see and control all of them on the single Eufy app which works well. I've had some of them as long as 4 years with no regrets.

Beware of Eufy deceptive naming conventions in ad copy. "S230" does not define a specific model. To check compatibility with the Homebase 3 for instance the item number is required which is typically Txxxx. If the cameras are T8124r then it is not Homebase 3 compatible. Advise ascertaining the item number and comparing specs, reported issues such as connectivity and limitations carefully. .

It definitely depends on you requirements, but I think this is a decent alternative and is also on sale:

I have 3 older bullet eufy cameras, and a solar similar to the ones that is in this three pack. For some the flexibility of the different camera style along with the solar panel placement being way more flexible might be worth the extra cost. It isn't that the OPs 3 pack is a bad deal, just that getting the most of that style of camera and solar panel set up might be tricky.

Great points - yeah the detachability of the solar panel on the camera you linked definitely lends itself to more mounting possibilities/flexibility. I have mains powered floodlights with the same dual view tracking cam, and they're excellent.

I had posted this deal when it was $210 - even more compelling at $200 for those with multiple full sun mounting locations.

These will die lest than a year cause moisture and rain and water will get insides the light on the front. When that happens, the light area will turn black because of mold. Sometimes the light turns on all the time and kills the battery. You can't turn it off via the app.

FYI for those who don't realize this model needs direct sun to charge, or later find their installed location was not ideal. You can plug in a separate solar panel that is mounted in direct sun using a USB-C cable. One of my locations charged most of the year, but was borderline come winter. Rather than relocate or replace it, I just added a solar panel for $20.

Well. If that happens you can take them back to Costco.

Solar Panels don't keep mine charged and the company doesn't stand behind their warranty. I've gotten the run around for 4 months

Check the costco app for local stock. My local costco had the S3 for $120 in store.

Be careful with this. Costco only has a 90 day warranty for cameras. I found this out the hard way when I purchased a drone from them that was defective and they pointed me to the camera policy.
