Paid $439+tax for the same saw in Feb 2024. Not the best deal but slightly lower than average if you need it now.

Have you been using this a lot or the circular saw did most of the jobs?

If you're cutting up plywood or sheet goods, a track saw is easier in my opinion. Taking the guide and saw to the material is much easier than taking a 4'x8' sheet to the a table saw. At least for what I typically do! This is a great table saw if you're needing one. Just make sure it's what would actually work best for you.

I have this saw, it replaced a 7485. I hate the DWE7491RS. Yes it cuts dado's but it's much louder and much messier than the 7485! It's so bad the wife is insisting I buy a SAWSTOP!

I never owned a 7485, but the 7491 has been an absolute workhorse for my woodworking. For a long time my dust collection was louder than the tablesaw, but with a stealthsonic it's much quieter now. Unfortunately, a sawstop is 2x+ the price for most folks

I have a 7485 (8in model) and i do like it but good gravy, the DUST!!!!! even with a shop vac hose connected and someone holding a separate shop vac right close to the blade, it still just sprays dust everywhere. If it is summer i just open my garage door and move the unit outside into the driveway.... but at 13° it is hard to justify doing that.

Oof. I have this 7491 and use it w a rigid shopvac with mullet separator out the back and a festool extractor connected to the riving knife over blade attachment. I'd say the chute out the back catches ~90% and over blade catches ~9%. The over blade collection only works when cutting sheet goods at 90 but that's mostly what I do. I do need to run these on separate circuits due to the power draw.

Set up this way collection is surprisingly good. Not perfect but good enough for me to keep the garage door shut. I run a box air filter for an hour after I'm done cutting and then turn on a hepa scrubber.

Agree with thenewjs23 that this saw is exceptionally loud. Louder than any cabinet saw I've ever met and most other job site saws. The only thing louder I've used was an old corded hitachi sidewinder that was just turn-your-brain-off-ear-splitting.

Def invest in good hearing protection. I keep those 3m 30db red cans hanging within arms reach.

I also just priced matched the Bigeasymart current price of $477.63 with Lowes via chat for an in store pickup order. Very easy.

HD Online chat denied the same price match as they do not match that online retailer

I bought this and am returning it because the fence arrived broken. Major pain to haul around a 110lb big box. That said though, I still want one of these but will be trying to get home depot or lowes to price match it and not deal with amazon.
