Without VRR for HDMI input/Consoles I would pass if you plan to use this for 61-120fps console games or you'll see a lot of tearing. The older model is better for consoles.
what would be a good similarly priced option for a 27 Inch 1440P monitor for non gaming purposes? I already have a 27 LG gaming monitor so want a another 27 inch for just everyday usage and media consumption etc. I don't care if it's new or refurb either
Thanks,

The 24D refurbished mentioned earlier is really good. I got one for my daughter and was very impressed (better than LG GL850).
Leave it to Dell to actually make something newer that is worse with less features than the model it is replacing instead of making it better. Dell does have the G2724D at their Outlet for $140 if you were interested. https://outlet.us.dell.com/GDOOnl...U3MDA3Il19
Thanks, I opted for the G2724D (refurbished w/90 day warranty) over the G2725D (new) for $10.88 more (w/tax).
