I love Milwaukee jackets I own several but wearing the red I think I'd feel like a billboard . If I'm going to be a billboard they should give them away as Milwaukee reps used to do but I haven't seen a free with purchase Milwaukee shirt since Covid . When I seen this ad I thought it was the newer axis jacket with hood. If this is the jacket I believe it is tuff shell , it's a nice jacket and wind proof but it's kind of stiff to wear. I'd recommend a quiet shell or a axis to anyone thinking about buying this.

This isn't the Toughshell jacket, it's basically a hoodie with heating elements. I have both in black. The Toughshell is definitely the more 'weather-ready' jacket, but the hoodie is nice in that it can be used under another jacket as a heated inner layer.

...hardly ever, and when they do, they're usually gone before most people that want them even have a chance to see the deal.

They sell the battery on Amazon that fits way better than the current m12. The M12 is extremely bulky to have on the jacket

Can you share a link? I agree - can't stand the M12 battery in mine

Agree - this doesn't put out much heat IMO, and I wouldn't recommend it as the only outer layer.

Got this in black with the 2AH and charger when it went on sale back in October for $55. I ordered L and XL, since I wasn't sure of fit, and ended up returning the XL
I usually wear XL in hoodies, mostly for sleeve/torso length (I'm 6'2"/200lbs), but these hoodies seem to be slightly longer for lengths than standard. It fits perfect, since I wanted a snug fit to have the heating pads close to my body but not have a belly shirt or exposed wrists.
As others said, if it's really cold, this works great under a regular jacket. I like being able to wear whatever jacket/coat I want over, and that traps the heat from this underneath.

Although this battery works with heated gear with only one plug. The newer gear with 'Hexon' technology has two plugs molded together. It's supposed to work with the Milwaukee flat battery 48-11-2330, but it's getting terrible reviews for not working more than once. I don't know if you can use the hexon plug with the3rd party battery.

Here's a video I saw that talks about the different battery packs that you can use for the M12 Heated Gear: https://youtu.be/jMJbsEOtiNA

I'll wait for the black color to go on sale. I'll look like a walking crayon wearing this bright ass jacket.
