Great deal on these LiFePO4 batteries!!
150ah for $179.19 can't be beat and is an amazing price and the lowest this battery has ever been!
Comes in a very protective metal case which is far superior to all the normal plastic cases these batteries are normally packaged inside.
Use promo code: PREZ20 for 20% off bringing the price down to $179.19.
Enjoy!!

Those were the plastic cased batteries. This is the metal case one.
Much superior IMO.

Grabbed one.

2 questions:

What size battery box should I buy?
What adapter do I need to use to connect from the RV terminals to these? These look a lot smaller than what my RV power cables use

Anyone know what size battery box this would fit in. Says it's a group 24 but doesn't look like those boxes are large enough.

Dimensions are 11.2 x 12.3 x 7.9 inches. I think the intent with these is they don't need a separate battery as they are a very sturdy and rigid battery box in themselves. They are made of heavy duty steel and won't bend the way they are. I have 2 already and bought 5 more. I believe these use standard lifepo4 battery terminal lugs and appropriately sized bolt fasteners.

Given this is on the outside of an RV, I need a box. The size technically would squeeze in a group 24, but I don't know if that has enough clearance for the cables.

I've never had a lithium battery before. What adapters do I need for it to connect to the existing terminals?

Ya. I guess you will need to source a waterproof box for these batteries to go into since it sounds like they will be externally on your RV and even though the batteries are very robust they still can't take direct water contact obviously. Using the dimensions I provided above hopefully you are able to find a waterproof battery box that can house these batteries.

All one needs in order to connect the batteries are a negative and positive battery cable (I'd recommend awg #4 or lower just to be on the safe side and not overload anything with undersized wire) with about 0.3 inch diameter cable wire lug connector terminals and then standard M6 lifepo4 style bolts to screw the cable terminals into the battery terminals themselves.

Yes this will work amazing for anything but a starting motor battery.

I believe this battery uses M8 sized bolts on the terminals.

I would totally replace hybrid batteries with these if they made them lol

Not sure about longevity but likely much better than the batteries that came with it since these are actually lipo4

This is a great deal on these batteries. I bought 2 of them last month from Amazon when they were on sale for about $40 more. They show 165 AH when fully charged. Built a simple portable battery backup (relatively speaking, it's heavy) for use during the outages here in So Cal. Used a Harbor Freight flat furniture dolly, 1/2 inch plywood, BoughRV 2000 watt inverter, 200 amp fuse, power switch and BAM, almost 4000 WH battery backup for around $800. I just watched a few Youtube videos to get an idea on design and just built it myself. It isn't pretty and this won't power your whole home but it will keep your fridge(s), internet, CPAP and some other things running over night. Looking to add solar charging soon.
