Wow. Good deal. I paid $280 for it at Costco. Came with extra rollers and solution though. Solution ran out and I used Simple Green instead. Love it so far.

Yikes how much did you dilute the Simple Green? What kind of floors are they?

Same. My biggest complaint is the water containers are small. They work really well though. Ours gets heavily used for puppy duty now though.

I just fill the Tineco bottle and use the same ratio-one capful for my hardwood floor.

How is this for like scrubbing/cleaning the floor as opposed to like mopping up a spill? Assuming nothing beats good old on hands and knees elbow grease...

This is my experience.
I use mine exclusively as a dry vacuum. The problem with this vacuum is that the space between the soft roller and the plastic is very very small and that means......
  1. You need to pick up all small items, even super small items. If you don't, your vacuum gets clogged up pretty fast. That is the negative.

    The positive....
  2. When your roller stops working you know it is clogged (roller is always suppose to be turning)
  3. It is very wide, compared to my stick vacuum, helps cleaning up.
Bottom line. Any plug in vacuum will be stronger.

That's the main complaint I've seen in reviews. Tempted to pick one up for quick mopping but having to refill several times a session kind of negates the whole 'quick' part.

If you have a nice real solid wood hardwood floor, avoid using these types for wet mopping

I recently renovated my garage with an epoxy/flake floor.

Will this be too strong to use for routine maintenance?

I.e. will it pull up the flakes?

Thx.
