I've used to have fold 3 with same issue and allstate fixed it in 2 days and sent me back in brand new bezel, screen, battery....except the mainboard. Very good experience so far. Btw, I'm using the fold 4 for over 2 years now and yes, it has very well known issue with inner screen (the cable will be failure) and I've end up replacing it out of warranty 😞 Labor and cost here in CA was 550 last time. That's hurt. So with this deal, i think it's sleak if you would like to experience a foldable device with 1 year of Allstate as peace of mind 😉
Did allstate ask or check the IMEI of your fold 3?

All I had to do is submitting a form (told them about my issue) and sent out my phone to them, they sent me back after 2 working days, really fast and easy. The other good experience at that time was my phone only have 3 days left in warranty period 😄

Yes, using your original email of this device from them as a receipt of warranty period. so i think they did check it before service

I bought a new Z-Fold4 when it was first released. It was excellent for watching YouTube videos. I never had any problem with the hinge or the screen breaking.
Unfortunately it was terrible with apps. The aspect ratio never looked right. Many of my apps looked like they were zoomed in. My browser app looked too zoomed in using mobile mode, and too zoomed out using desktop mode. Changing the screen settings helped a little for some apps, but overall I found it to be extremely frustrating.
I kept it for a year hoping that Samsung would fix the app issues with updates. That never happened so I ended up trading it in.

When the Z-Fold6 was released I assumed Samsung would have long since addressed the app issues.
I took a gamble and bought one. Nope, same problems. The aspect ratio was worse. The screen was less rectangular and more square. Full screen videos look like crap on a square screen. I returned it the next day.
It could be a great device if Samsung ever figures out how to fix these problems.

Still too expensive for this junk.

There's clearly no demand in the food market unless it truly unfolds into a 12 inch tablet.

Samsung trade in value of Fold 4 for S25 ultra is $500 in good condition, however don't know if this refurb would qualify as in good condition.
I got the $1000 for my Fold 3 "refurb" after having it for 2 years toward the Fold 6...

Basically, as long as it's not stolen and in appropriate condition, Samsung will take it in on trade.

Things have improved, but most of those issues are bad apps, not the OS/hardware's fault.

As for video, if you put a 4:3 video on a 16:9 screen and so on aspect ratio screen, ya, it may not fill the screen just like it wouldn't on your TV.

The Pixel fold doesn't have The same problem with apps. It somehow manages to display the apps without having them appear zoomed in.

As for video I understand that stretching to fit the screen has limitations. It was good on the z-fold 4, but in my opinion terrible on squarer Z-Fold 6.

Anyone has experience with the allstate warranty in terms of how easy it is to claim if the phone break? I used to have a Fold 4 and the inner screen just go all black. Apparently a well known issue with the Fold 4.
Fold 3 does it to. I have a inner black screen

It's positively awful. Bought a refurbished laptop and we've been back and forth for almost 6 months. It's like a $200 laptop. Absolute joke.

No, the maker of the OSs foldable phone works better with the apps.
